  • The content of the programme provides: an in-depth study of the methodological and theoretical fundamentals of psychology; the development of abilities to conduct research and implement research projects (independent setting of objectives for scientific psychological research, its planning, conducting and presenting its results); acquiring advanced research methods and technologies in their field of study; and developing skills in academic and teaching activities;
  • The programme is designed to train highly professional experts who are able to: critically analyse and evaluate modern scientific achievements in the field of psychology; generate new ideas in solving research and practical problems in key fields of psychological science as well as in interdisciplinary fields;
  • While studying, doctoral students have the opportunity to participate in international conferences and various research projects (the teachers of the programme successfully receive research grants), with some of them being carried out in collaboration with colleagues from leading universities;
  • Training includes preparation for: participating in the work of Russian and international research teams to solve current scientific and educational problems; and using advanced techniques of scientific communication in Russian and foreign languages.
