This includes ways to solve them in various areas of professional activity and public life. They will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in professional activities;
  • The programme is focused on an in-depth study of the whole range of philosophical disciplines: history of philosophy; ontology; epistemology; logic; philosophy of science and technology; social philosophy; philosophy of history; philosophical anthropology; aesthetics; and ethics;

  • This programme is unique in that it provides opportunities to study for graduates with non-philosophical degrees.

The graduates of the programme are able to:

  • critically analyse and evaluate modern scientific achievements; and generate new ideas in solving research and practical problems, including those in interdisciplinary areas;
  • plan and conduct integrated studies, including interdisciplinary ones, based on a holistic systemic scientific worldview using their knowledge of the history and philosophy of science;
  • participate in the work of Russian and international research teams to solve scientific and educational problems, and use advanced methods and techniques of academic communication in the state and foreign languages;
  • plan and solve problems of their own professional and personal development;
  • carry out teaching activities for degree programmes at higher education institutions;
  • independently carry out research activities in their field of study using advanced research methods and information and communication technologies;
  • present their findings in the form of dissertations, papers, articles, monographs, theses and reports at conferences, scientific symposia, seminars and round tables.
