  • The programme is focused on developing students’ research and teaching competencies in the field of law. It involves mastering necessary academic disciplines and practices for conducting research and teaching activities in law. Learning outcomes are accessed by public defence of graduation projects, as well as by having an interdisciplinary exam in law;
  • The programme provides a large amount of individual consulting work of doctoral students with their supervisors, as well as independent work of doctoral students;
  • As part of ‘Teaching Practice’ course students also do their internships in the Legal Clinic of St Petersburg University;
  • The academic programme has been designed taking into account professional standards and the views of employers on the correlation of graduates' competencies and job functions in their professional activities
