  • The programme is unique in that it combines knowledge of: the history and culture of China and the Far Eastern region; the Far Eastern languages (Chinese, Japanese); and theoretical knowledge in the field of cultural studies and philosophy of culture, and fundamentals of philosophy.
  • Graduates of the programme are capable of: communicating in Chinese; and understanding the Chinese scientific and journalistic text. They know the philosophical, religious, literary and artistic traditions of China and are academically trained in the field of cultural research methodology.
