  • The programme is interdisciplinary. It is designed to train master’s students who will be engaged in practical activities in the field of digitalisation of the economy across three areas: information technology; mathematical methods of optimisation; and managerial activities to build, develop and distribute ready-made software.
  • Digitalisation of the economy includes: the production, distribution and consumption of software and appropriate algorithms; and the creation and maintenance of information systems (IT systems). The digitalisation process and its mathematical support are very flexible when analysing and using production factors. They provide attractiveness for investments. Their development level is crucial in: the country's security system; GDP growth; and creating competitive products and trading systems.
  • Digitalisation of the economy can develop through small and medium-sized businesses, without requiring large investments in fixed assets. Graduates of this master's programme will be capable of research activities in such areas as: the development of computational optimisation algorithms; the development of mathematical modelling; software engineering; system administration; information security and information protection; Web technologies; supercomputing; and neural computation and systems
