Inclusive education: students from different countries arrive at the Graduate School of Managment of St Petersburg University after an annual break
During the last week of August, the Graduate School of Management of St Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) hosted events for the international students who came on an exchange programme to St Petersburg.
At the meeting, students were welcomed by: Alisa Stepanova and Ekaterina Soloveva, staff members of the International Academic Cooperation Department; Elena Orlova, CEMS Language Coordinator; and a team of student volunteers of the Graduate School of Management of St Petersburg University. In the autumn semester, 70 international students will study at the Business School, the majority of whom were able to come to Russia.
‘We are pleased to note that thanks to the gradual opening of the borders student exchange programmes are available as usual. More international students from our partner business schools can come to Russia not only to continue their studies, but also to get acquainted with the culture, history, language and the traditions of our country,’ said Alisa Stepanova, Deputy Head of the International Academic Cooperation Department of the Graduate School of Management of St Petersburg University.
For the first time, a student of the Athens University of Economics and Business, one of the new academic partners of the Business School, came to the Graduate School of Management of St Petersburg University. Traditionally, most exchange students come from European countries: France, Germany, Austria, and Ireland.
