Starting from 16 March all courses of St Petersburg University on Coursera will be accessible for students of partner higher schools of the largest online learning platform. Students of the University will have the opportunity to choose from 4000 courses on the platform.

Online learning platform Coursera gives free access to the service Coursera for Campus for the universities which move to online learning in response to the coronavirus threat. Partner universities get access to 3800 online courses. Free access will be available until 31 July and will be extended if necessary. Before launching this campaign, Coursera requested the approval of the authors of the courses. St Petersburg University sent a letter to the organisation asking to include their Coursera courses into the service, and received a positive reply. Now online courses of the University are available for all the partner higher schools of Coursera for Campus.
