The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has summarised the results of the annual quality monitoring of financial management 2020.

According to its ranking, St Petersburg University is in the list of top Russian institutions and ranks first among the universities.

St Petersburg University has been ranked second with a score of 91.05 points in the Russian ranking for institutions. In addition, the University has been placed in the top seven institutions that submitted full annual reports.

The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation monitors 94 institutions that are the chief administrators of federal revenues. The average score was 75.7 points in 2020. The ranking is based on the assessment of the quality of internal audit, accounting, budget reports, and asset management as well as public spending and revenues.
