Enlarging its network of representative offices abroad is one of the key tools for developing international cooperation at St Petersburg University.
The project ‘Representative office of St Petersburg University’ is aimed at promoting: the Russian language, history and culture; academic exchanges; and joint research and academic projects. The representative offices host contests for students, Russian-language testing, and lectures delivered by Russian scholars and cultural figures. Additionally, the representative offices support joint research projects, and organise international conferences and expert round table discussions.
As part of our international policy, we strive for maximum internationalisation and for the presence of the University throughout the world.
Sergey Andryushin, Deputy Rector for International Affairs of St Petersburg University
Thanks to the work of the representative offices, more foreign nationals learn about the opportunities of Russian education. Moreover, St Petersburg University students have plenty of opportunities for exchange studies.
