The development of international scientific cooperation is an integral part of the activities of the St Petersburg University. The University creates the necessary conditions for supporting fundamental scientific research and the implementation of joint projects in priority areas. This facilitates the inclusion of Russian scientists in the world scientific community.

At the moment, the University participates in the implementation of major international research projects jointly with foreign partners of many countries.
