Programme description
  • The master’s programme "Restoration of Fine and Applied Art Objects" trains: artists-restorers who have an in-depth theoretical knowledge in restoration science and its specific part as restoration of fine and applied art objects; as well as experts in the protection and use of works of arts and culture
  • The programme combines a fundamental university education with uniquely-designed teaching techniques of modern methods of restoration, the use of the latest information and computer technologies in the learning process
  • Among the teaching staff are leading St Petersburg art theorists, restorers of works of stone and wood, restorers of paintings, gilding, rare books as well as tutors and scholars of St Petersburg University in related fields: chemistry, physics, biology, whose courses provide interdisciplinarity of the educational process and as a result high demand for graduates in the labour market
