Russian as a Foreign Language for Mathematicians
The course will be of interest to specialists in the field of mathematics and to international students preparing to teach mathematical academic disciplines. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students and consists of five modules from A1 to C1.
The course is designed to meet the everyday and professional needs of educators. It covers essential skills in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and academic language. The course emphasizes interactive methods, such as speaking practice and role‑playing games.
Students should enroll in the module that best matches their language proficiency level based on the placement test and interview results.
The course aims to assist non-native mathematics teachers in reading and listening to Russian texts, as well as using correct grammar when writing and speaking with native Russian speakers. Additional emphasis is placed on academic writing.
