Programme description
- The bachelor’s programme ‘Archaeology (with the additional qualifications ‘Teacher of History and Social Science‘ / ’Museum Curator" / ‘Museum Documentation Specialist’)’ educates students in the spirit of traditional values and is designed to develop a skills set that makes it possible to know and understand the fundamental concepts of archaeological science, the history of archaeological knowledge from the first human ideas of antiquity to modern archaeological theory. Students study archaeological cultures, agricultural and nomadic civilisations of Eurasia from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, antiquity, the Migration Period, the Middle Ages, and the Modern Period
- It brings together academic courses and practices that focus on the archeology-specific skills: introduction and processing of the archeological sources, description and classification archeological material, field research methods, e-resources and software for 3D-modelling of the archeological monuments, modern legislation in preservation of the archeological monuments
- Upon completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the additional qualifications ‘Teacher of History and Social Science’ / ‘Museum Curator’ / ‘Museum Documentation Specialist’.

- Training of specialists capable of applying these competences in their expert work and practical activities at museums, academic and educational institutions, state and private archaeological expert organisations, and local and federal government agencies responsible for the protection of cultural and archaeological heritage monuments
