- The degree programme ‘Business Informatics’ combines a classical economics education with applied knowledge of cutting-edge information technology and business practices
- Graduates of the programme have knowledge of algorithms and instrumental environments. They also understand the laws of economic systems and the concepts of business models in the new conditions. They can initiate and implement projects related to the effective development of companies in the digital economy era
Our bachelor’s programme in the main field of study ‘Business Informatics’ at St Petersburg University is designed to train specialists capable of:
- participating in the planning, development and implementation of projects for the digital transformation of companies
- solving the problems of regulation, analysis and optimisation of business processes
- designing, implementing and developing company architecture
- reengineering business processes in the context of digital transformation
- designing and implementing information system components
- providing information and analytical support for decision making
- creating new businesses to develop and implement digital technologies
- participating in the design and implementation of an organisation’s IT infrastructure development strategy
