The specialist’s programme ‘Easel Painting’ is designed to train artists with fundamental knowledge of the theory and history of arts, and with professional skills and creative techniques according to their specialisation. They will have: wide and independent artistic thinking; an active attitude to life; and the ability to interpret certain facts of culture, and identify themselves in the contemporary socio-cultural space.
Upon completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the additional qualification ‘Drawing Teacher’ and ‘Teacher of Additional Education’.

- The programme is designed to form competences, a set of knowledge and skills that ensure the training of artists for professional artistic activities through the system of historically developed and meaningful for Russian culture teaching programmes
- Graduates of the programme are ready to: create independent, unique, aesthetically perfect works of art using modern visual, creative production and information technologies; as well as participate in a group creative process
Scope of graduates’ professional activities
- designing projects related to various types of fine arts;
- expert advice and professional examination of projects related to various types of fine arts;
- preparing and creating copyright works of fine art;
- teaching activities in the field of professional training, vocational education and continuing professional education.
