Business education at St Petersburg University has been recognised as the best in Russia
Eduniversal has published its latest ranking of business schools. The compiler is the private French company SMBG.
The ranking is based primarily on the opinions of the heads of business schools and the deans of economic departments of universities in different countries. However, they do not create a global or regional ranked list; information is provided for each particular country.
The Graduate School of Management at St Petersburg University with 374 points is ranked first this year.
This result enabled the ranking compilers to place St Petersburg University into the top rank group «Universal Business School with Strong Global Influence». Among other Russian business schools, Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School is also in the same group with 184 points.
Having these points, St Petersburg University could have claimed, for example, to be first among all German universities and second in Sweden. These are European countries with traditionally high levels of business education.
The programmes of St Petersburg University in the field of management constantly take prestigious places in international rankings. Rankings created by business professionals are of particular value. For example, the St Petersburg University Master’s Degree programme in Management was ranked 23rd in the world by the ranking of The Financial Times newspaper. It is 37th in the world according to the «Which MBA?» ranking among the best Master Degree programmes in Management by The Economist magazine.
