A large-scale student festival to be held at St Petersburg University
The preparation of the Campus-2018 student festival began at St Petersburg University. This was made possible due to the victory of the SPbU "Baltic Eagles" sports club in a Presidential grant competition for non-profit organisations.
The total of 9,543 projects from all regions of the country was submitted for the competition. Over 2,000 organisations became the winners, the SPbU sports club being one of them with an over two million rubles grant allocated for the implementation of Campus-2018.
The festival is aimed at increasing students' interest in regular physical training and sports activities, as well as in the cooperation of youth public organisations with university administrations and local authorities when organising sports events of various levels.
