Preparing for a Russian as a foreign language exam: B2

If you can read these words facilely, even though Russian is not your native language, then you are probably familiar with the TORFL acronym. For those that do not know what this acronym means, TORFL stands for a Test of Russian as a Foreign Language. There are a total of 6 levels. The higher the level, the more opportunities the certificate gives. For example, to obtain a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Russian university, as well as to work in the humanities, engineering, and natural sciences, you need to successfully pass the second level exam (TORFL-II / B2). It means that a test taker can speak fluently, express his or her opinion, read articles and literary texts, write plans and compendiums, and a test taker also need to know the nuances of the tasks and have a lot of practice.

Of course, you can prepare independently for an exam. But it takes much time and effort to find reliable, useful and helpful information, and there is a great risk to miss something important. It would be better to spend precious time on studying.
