SPbU launches series of online courses on business and investment projects analysis
How to learn how to work with economic potential of a company? What aspects should be taken into account? The new online programme "Estimation and management of company costs in the modern economy" will introduce key factors and approaches to financial statements.
The programme consists of three online courses. The first course "Analysis of financial statements" will acquaint students with the system of indicators to estimate position of an organisation, analytic ratios and their calculations, the process of making financial decisions, logical framework and principles of financial statements. The course will use public financial (accounting) statements as examples.
The course "Business and investment projects estimation" aims to help students better understand key principles and ideas for estimation of company costs, and price regulation in the Russian Federation. Furthermore, it will introduce main approaches to determine financial position of a company. Students of the course will be able to evaluate business performance in practice.
The course "Management of company costs" will help students to master both practical and theoretical instruments of company costs management.
Students will analyse company position in the stock market and find ways to influence market to maximize market capitalization of a company, learn more about planning of financial flows. The course is unique because it combines lectures on business estimation, analysis of financial statements and business management.
At the end of the course, students will be able to plan investments in business development, use financial statements, provide comprehensive analysis of its value and management practices, and interpret influence of different external and internal factors.
