SPbU launches two new courses: «Introduction to the Topic of Finance Essentials» and «Investments and Valuation»
St Petersburg University has launched two new courses on the OpenEdu National Platform that will help students better understand financial fundamentals and instruments.
The course “Introduction to the Topic of Finance Essentials” introduces contemporary financial theories, paying special attention to their application to a wide range of business situations. Within five modules, students will get to know more information about corporate finance, including financial forecasting, investments, finance strategies and processes.
The course “Investments and Valuation” will help develop investment appraisal skills to conduct business valuations and determine the cost of debt, the cost of equity and the weighted average cost of capital.
These courses as well as “Financial Accounting”, “Performance Management and Decision-Making”, “ESG Finance” may be useful for those who want to deepen their knowledge and understanding of finance.
