St Petersburg University continues to score points in the university ranking of the BRICS countries
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has published an updated university ranking of the BRICS countries. St Petersburg University continued to score points in this ranking, taking the 11th place (for comparison: it was 20th in 2016 and 13th in 2017).
At the same time, St Petersburg University took second place in the Russian Federation, which is more appropriate to its status, personnel potential, scientific achievements and quality of education, giving place only to M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (last year St Petersburg University was ranked third in the country).
The regularity of this result is confirmed by the increase in the number of points scored in all rating indicators. In particular, the values of the most important indicators «Academic Reputation» and «Employer Reputation» amounted to 94.6 points and 91.90 points (out of 100 possible). The indicators «International Students» (96.7 points) and «Faculty Student» (99.7 points) are quite high.
