St Petersburg University launches online courses "Korean for beginners" in a new format
Online courses "Korean for beginners" are now available again on the Open edX platform in a convenient new four-part format.
Learners will have to master reading, basic vocabulary and grammar skills. Also, animated characters voiced by native speakers will help them develop listening comprehension skills in Korean.
Additionally, students will learn interesting facts about the culture, traditions and Korean etiquette, which are indispensable for studying Oriental languages. Also, they will practise and consolidate the material at the end of each module.
The courses are developed on the basis of the material provided for 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students in the Korean Philology programme at St Petersburg University. Upon completion of all four courses, learners reach A1 level in accordance with the TOPIK classification (an international examination for determining the level of proficiency in Korean).
