The project «Foreign view» aims to capture life, delve into the essence of each country, reveal what Russia and other countries share in religion, arts, education, every-day life, and environment. The main requirement is Russian should submit projects made abroad, while foreigners those made in Russia. This year, the competition focuses on the year of Volunteers and has a moto «Free to help». The projects are intended to visually preserve what volunteers do for our future.

SPbU students can submit photo portraits, reports, and videos in six categories. The first one is «Free to help» and brings together the works made by volunteers who help others. The category «The world without borders» tells about the companies that help disabled people, while the category «Save our world» about how we preserve our ecology. The category «History of volunteering» shows materials from personal archives that depict angels of mercy, donators, and other volunteers.SPbU students can submit photo portraits, reports, and videos in six categories. Yet there is another category «Victory ball» that focus on the FIFA 2018 in Russia. It is for photos and videos of professional and amateur football in our country.
The best student projects will be awarded at the awarding ceremony and be part of the e-fund of the Presidential Library.
