Programme description

The Bachelor’s degree programme in English as a Foreign Language in Teaching and Communication (with the additional qualification of "Teacher of English" / "Translation Specialist") combines rigorous theoretical training in linguistics, pedagogy, psychology, foreign language teaching methodology, translation studies and intercultural communication theory with a practical component that facilitates the implementation of language activities in English, including in the workplace
During the course of the programme, students will acquire skills in teaching English as a second language using modern information and communication technologies, creating their own teaching materials, translating and interpreting
The programme is suitable for applicants who wish to improve their knowledge of English as a language of intercultural communication and use it as a tool in their future careers in education or translation
