A2 level Russian language course open for enrolment

St Petersburg University is now accepting enrolments for its regular continuation Russian language course, which advances students from the A1 to A2 proficiency level.

The course is designed to develop students’ Russian language skills to a stable conversational level, building on the basic knowledge acquired in the A1 course. It is particularly suitable for those who wish to practice Russian intensively before or during their first few months in Russia, as well as for students who wish to focus on improving their conversational skills.

St Petersburg University offers a wide range of online courses and full-fledged online educational programmes in Russian as a foreign language.

The course prioritizes practical communication skills, modeling conversations in various public and private settings. SPbU is renowned for its long-standing tradition of teaching Russian with expert educators and a streamlined curriculum. The teachers are native speakers with extensive experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Over the course of 20 weeks, students will complete 460 hours of intensive study, including 284 hours of direct tuition, to ensure the level of proficiency required to pass the TORFL A2 exam. Upon successful completion, students will receive an official certificate from St Petersburg University, which can be used as proof of their Russian language skills for university applications, on a CV, or for credit exchange at educational institutions.
