Global Journalism and Artificial Intelligence in Chinese

Course description

This course introduces students to the core concepts of globalisation and its impact on journalism, focusing on:

  • Understanding the mission of journalism
  • Defining the boundaries between press freedom and journalistic responsibility
  • Exploring professional codes of journalism
  • Examining legal and ethical frameworks for media in different countries
  • Analysing changes in journalistic culture under globalisation
  • Identifying factors shaping the global news agenda
