Our advantages

The programme trains health professionals who are skilled in the use of modern, innovative technologies in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the female reproductive system, pregnancy and the perinatal period, including necessary digital skills.

The programme makes extensive use of active and interactive forms of teaching (computer simulations, business and role-playing games, case studies, psychological and other training) in combination with extracurricular activities in order to form and develop students’ professional skills.

Academic courses include meetings with representatives of Russian and foreign companies, government and public organisations, master classes with experts and specialists.

The major part of the programme involves practical work with patients, during which residents, under the guidance of department staff and through individual study of recommended medical literature, systematise and deepen their acquired knowledge, forming a comprehensive set of professional skills.

Practical work is conducted in various medical institutions with obstetric-gynaecological departments, such as maternity hospitals, general hospitals, and outpatient clinics, under the direct supervision of a department employee or head.

Graduates are prepared for preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative, psychological, educational, organisational and managerial activities.
