St Petersburg University offers a wide range of non-degree online programmes to study languages

A good command of foreign languages opens up fresh opportunities for personal hobbies, education and career growth.

St Petersburg University offers a wide range of non-degree online programmes. They cover not only popular and widely spoken languages such as English, German, Italian, and others, but also various Oriental and Scandinavian languages. Courses focused on the business and professional level of communication and translation/interpreting activities are also provided.

For detailed information on the programmes, duration and tuition fees, click here.

You can choose a programme with the necessary level: from beginner to proficiency. Integrated and practical approaches will help you to acquire new competencies and improve your common language skills in a particular language. Leading University lecturers – advanced practitioners – will provide training for students. The use of modern and effective educational methods will make the whole process interesting, understandable and intelligible for acquisition. Intensive programmes contain: theoretical parts in convenient formats; practical exercises in webinars; feedback from lecturers; and individual consultations.

At the end of each course, students will be able to: understand certain language structures; have communicative, reading and writing skills; expand their vocabulary; understand speech and written texts by native speakers; and translate texts. If students pass the final assessment tests, they are issued either a certificate, or a certificate of advanced training, or a diploma of professional retraining of the standard form established in St Petersburg University. Learn languages with interest and get great results with St Petersburg University.
