SPbU Applicant Day
On the anniversary of the University’s foundation, SPbU will host a major event for school students, students and their parents — the Applicants’ Day.
The event will showcase educational programmes at all levels, intellectual competitions organised by the University, as well as the scientific, sporting and extracurricular life of the students.
There will be presentations in the Assembly Hall on the benefits of studying at SPbU and the admissions process for 2025. The programme will also include a Q&A session for attendees.
An exhibition of final year projects by students and graduates of the Graphics, Design and Painting courses will be open to guests in the main corridor of the Twelve Collegia building.
The Exhibition Hall will host the exhibition Architectural Palimpsest: St Petersburg University, while the Maxim Gorky Scientific Library of SPbU will present the exhibition Outstanding Alumni — Nobel Laureates: I. P. Pavlov, I. I. Mechnikov, N. N. Semyonov, L. D. Landau, A. M. Prokhorov, V. V. Leontief, L. V. Kantorovich, I. A. Brodsky, A. I. Yekimov.
All visitors have the opportunity to explore the history of the University through guided tours of the SPbU museums.
At 17:00, a celebratory concert dedicated to the University’s anniversary will take place in the Assembly Hall.
