St Petersburg University will hold the exhibition ‘University at War. 1941-1945’. The exhibition presents unique materials and documents from collections of St Petersburg University History Museum, many of which are being made publicly available for the first time. The exhibition also incorporates findings from historical research conducted by the University scholars and memoirs of the University staff and students who were veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

Marking 80 years since Victory in the Great Patriotic War, St Petersburg University will hold memorial events to honour the Soviet people’s defence of their homeland and ensure this pivotal historical period is never forgotten.

St Petersburg University Representative Office in Spain invites you to the lecture "Best Soviet Films on the Great Patriotic War" delivered by Ekaterina Morilova, PhD in Philology, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Philology at SPbU.

St Petersburg University will host the international academic conference "The Road to Victory: 1941-1945. New Directions and Sources in Great Patriotic War Studies", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and World War II.
