Preparatory Department with Focus on Physics and Mathematics
Course description
- Preparation for international students to enroll in Russian universities for study in natural sciences, engineering, and medical-biological fields in Russian
- Preparation for the Test of Russian as a Foreign Language (TORFL Level 1) and entrance exams in relevant subjects: physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biology (two courses to choose from)
- Full-time study includes interactive classes: visits to museums, parks, and other sites to reinforce course material in real-life settings
- Language classes take place at the University’s Petrodvortsovy campus. Students will be introduced to the education system and research laboratories (Physics, Mathematics and Mechanics, and Chemistry departments at St Petersburg University)
- Accommodation is available in the SPbU student dormitories alongside Russian-speaking students. This will aid in adapting to societal, cultural, and traditional aspects of Russian life. SPbU also provides full visa support for international students
- The only course prerequisite is a complete general secondary education

- Copy of a passport valid for more than 18 months from the expected date of entry into the Russian Federation
