Russian Language for English-speaking Students (Beginners A1)
The course is taught in English and aimed to international students whose English perfomance is at B2 level or higher. It is an intensive course of the Russian language in the form of practical classes, aimed at developing the ability to use the knowledge gained in any area of student’s life. The course covers following areas: terminology, phonetic and grammar materials, as well as some lexical items.
The programme provides English-speaking students with a unique opportunity to study Russian in a comfortable environment in a short period of time.
The main aim of the course is to help students to improve their level of Russian language proficiency and develop their speaking skills.
While studying at the programme students will master their:
- speaking skills in starting and sustaing a conversation, asking questions and delivering a monologue within the framework of the educational programme of the course
- writing skills of composing a simple text based on the materials provided at the course
- reading skills. Students will be able to read and understand texts based on the studied materials
- listening skills: Students will be able to listen and understand texts within the framework of the educational programme

This is a crash course in Russian in the form of practical classes aimed at developing the ability to use the acquired knowledge in any sphere of life:
