The Cardiology residency programme is designed to train medical specialists who know and can use modern innovative technologies in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of various diseases of the cardiovascular system, including digital technologies, in their practice, as well as to develop a research approach.

The programme trains medical specialists who know and can use modern innovative technologies in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of various diseases of the cardiovascular system.
The programme makes extensive use of active and interactive forms of teaching (computer simulations, business and role-playing games, case studies, psychological and other training) in combination with extracurricular activities in order to form and develop students’ professional skills.
Academic courses include meetings with representatives of Russian and foreign companies, government and public organisations, master classes with experts and specialists. Practical work is carried out in the cardiology departments of the hospital under the direct supervision of departmental supervisors and heads of department.
Graduates are prepared for preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative, psychological, educational, organisational and managerial activities.
