Programme description

The clinical residency programme "Endoscopy" is designed to train specialists in the field of medicine who know how to provide primary and specialised medical care with the use of endoscopic methods. They will be able to use them in practice in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in outpatient and inpatient settings. The programme also develops in students an approach to conducting scientific research, which enables them to acquire professional competences of a specialist in the field.

Our advantages

The programme is designed to train specialists in the field of medicine who know modern innovative technologies. They will be able to use them in practice in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of various cardiovascular diseases. 

In order to build and develop students’ professional skills during the academic process, the programme provides an extensive use of active and interactive forms of conducting classes. These include computer simulations, business and role-playing games, case studies, and psychological and other trainings, together with extracurricular work. 

The training courses include meetings with representatives of Russian and foreign companies, state and public institutions, and master classes of experts and specialists. Practical work is carried out in cardiovascular care units of in-patient hospitals. It is under the direct supervision of an employee of the unit responsible for the work of a certain division, and division heads. 

Graduates of the programme are ready for preventive, diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation, psychological, educational, organisational and managerial activities.
