- In order to build and develop students’ professional skills during the academic process, the programme provides an extensive use of active and interactive forms of conducting classes. These include computer simulations, business and role-playing games, case studies, and psychological and other trainings, together with extracurricular work. The training courses include meetings with representatives of Russian and foreign companies, state and public institutions, and master classes of experts and specialists
- Practical work is carried out in various paediatric divisions of in-patient hospitals. It is under the direct supervision of an employee of the department responsible for the work of a certain division, and division heads
- Specialists from the clinical base, who have been deeply involved in certain fields for not less than five years, can be invited to teach these specialist practical and technical professional matters such as echocardiography, functional tests, laboratory diagnosis, etc
- Graduates of the programme are ready for preventive, diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation, psychological, educational, organisational and managerial activities
