Programme description
- The "Eco-Legal Support of Economic Activity" programme is unique in training of specialist in management and legal support for business and public authorities in the field of environmental safety and nature management
- The programme is distinguished by an interdisciplinary approach to its content. It is taught jointly by professionals of the Faculty of Law and the Institute of Earth Sciences of SPbU to train unique specialists in the field of legal regulation of nature management and ensuring environmental safety. For this purpose the "Eco-Legal Support of Economic Activity" programme focuses on a balance between humanity and science courses
- Practical orientation of the programme is enhanced by holding seminars and master classes by practising lawyers of companies operating in the field of nature management, leading experts from regulatory authorities, scientists and experts in the field of environmental protection. The programme is designed in compliance with potential employers’ requirements to the skills and competencies of environmental lawyers, capable to justify and organise the implementation of environmental measures in organisations and public authorities
- The programme aims to train qualified specialists capable to provide complex legal support in the field of rational use of resources, establishing and ensuring of effective functioning of nature management and environmental protection facilities, who can use modern tools to ensure the sustainable functioning of techno-natural systems, focused on building of the digital economy. Graduated of the programme will be in demand in the both domestic and foreign labour markets
