Programme description
- The bachelor’s programme ‘German’ is designed to train multi-skilled experts in intercultural and interlingual communication, translation and interpreting, and German language teaching
- Students receive a rigorous general philological and linguistic education following the carefully preserved traditions of the St Petersburg School of Linguistics. It enables students to continue their studies in the chosen field, and advantageously solve specific professional tasks in a variety of activities
- Graduates have: a professional command of several foreign languages; extensive knowledge of the culture of the respective languages and regions; and in-depth linguistic and general humanitarian knowledge
