Programme description
The programme is aimed at comprehensive and high-quality training of academic staff in the following areas:
- Description of morphofunctional states of the organism during development in order to discover fundamental regularities and mechanisms of developmental processes in multicellular animals
- Studies of biochemical and molecular genetic mechanisms of differentiation in ontogenesis
- Theoretical regularities of realisation of hereditary information in ontogenesis and regulation of genome function in early embryogenesis
- Study of cytological and histological mechanisms of morphogenesis, regeneration and growth, intercellular interactions, induction mechanisms, regulation of proliferation in individual development
- Studies of regulatory and integrative systems that ensure the integrity of the organism in ontogenesis
- Theoretical problems of comparative evolutionary embryology, ontogenesis evolution, phylogenesis and ontogenesis correlations, including ways to preserve the gene pool of the animal world
- Study of the role of external factors in ensuring ontogenetic processes
- Study of the regularities of processes of the final period of ontogenesis at the subcellular, cellular and organismal levels
