- The programme is designed to train high calibre psychologists to work in education: pre-school, general, secondary vocational, higher and further education institutions. Graduates of the programme will be capable of dealing effectively with the psychological problems that are essential for educational process
- During training, students master traditional and innovative approaches, methods and techniques of: psychological diagnostics; psychological prevention; psychological intervention (counselling and psychological correction) of all participants of educational relations, including students of different ages, parents, and teachers. Students also acquire: theoretical foundations and technology solutions of psychological support of educational process and academic programmes (including psychological and pedagogical support of inclusive education); and fundamentals of expert psychological activities
The structure and content of the programme enables students to build their own educational paths by choosing between two blocks of subjects:
- Psychologist in the field of digital education (with a focus on mastering the innovative activities of the psychologist in an environment of extensive use of hardware and software-based information and communication technologies)
- Psychologist in the field of special education (with a focus on mastering the various aspects of the organisation and content of psychological work with children with disabilities and their families)
Considerable attention is paid to the development of practical skills in psychology, including through a number of internships: research internship; teaching practice; work placements; and pregraduation practice. The programme is most appropriate for applicants with a basic psychological, pedagogical, special (defectological) education.

- The programme is interdisciplinary in its contents and methods of training a modern psychologist. Cutting-edge achievements of psychological and pedagogical science and world trends in changing the theory and practice of education are taken into account
- The programme is practice-oriented, which presupposes: the compulsory use of active and interactive teaching methods (a case method, workshops, group discussions to name just a few); and the involvement of practitioners from a wide network of partner educational institutions (future employers) to solve educational issues
- The programme provides a wide range of elective courses that makes it possible to master in-depth: the psychology of digital education; special psychology; and the psychology of inclusive education
- The programme is designed to train high calibre experts who are capable of: solving various issues in educational psychology and related areas; and providing psychological support for children and adults in the contexts of both education, upbringing, correction, socialisation, and personal and professional becoming and development
