Double diplomas
The second diploma:
- The Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel (Germany)
Our advantages:
- ‘Double-degree’ academic programmes of St Petersburg University are implemented jointly with partner organisations, including foreign ones, under international interuniversity agreements. According to the programme, students enrol in each of the partner organisations and, upon completion, they are awarded degrees (qualifications) of the universities of the two countries with the issuance of relevant documents on higher education (diploma of St Petersburg University and diploma of the partner university).
- Admission to any of these 'joint programmes’ is open, accessible and available to everybody. The conditions for admission are the same for everyone. They are set out in the Regulations for Admission and published on the St Petersburg University website. The only limiting factor is the set number of places for admission. Additionally, for applicants for ‘double-degree’ programmes, there is often an internal ‘qualifying competition’, the terms of which are established in an agreement with the foreign partner university.
- To concentrate and institutionalise this work, St Petersburg University issued the local normative act ‘On Approving Methodological Recommendations for the Preparation of Agreements on Cooperation in the Implementation of Academic Programmes with Foreign Partners’. Draft guidelines were issued for organising networking cooperation in the implementation of academic programmes at St Petersburg University.
