Programme description
  • The master’s programme "Linguistic Fundamentals of Editing and Criticism" is aimed at developing in students knowledge of the theory, methodology and practice of literary editing and criticism
  • During training, students acquire practical skills in the main fields of criticism and editing of texts. They also master linguistic research methods, and the theory and practice of linguistic analysis when working with different types of texts

  • Students master the skills of creating, editing, abstracting and systematising all types of business documentation, media texts, and analytical reviews to name just a few
  • Students acquire skills in developing scientific, social, educational, creative, advertising, publishing and other projects
  • Students have the opportunity to take part in: the annual scientific conference of students of Philology, held at St Petersburg University; scientific conferences of other universities; and exchange programmes with foreign universities
