Level of education Master
Type of instruction Full-time
Duration 2 years
- The master’s programme ‘Mathematical and Information Technologies’ is designed to train specialists in mathematical modelling and applied information technology.
- The methods of applied mathematics and physics and information technology are widely used in science, technology, medicine and other fields. The development, implementation and application of various mathematical models, in particular models for various technological processes, and control models for electrophysical equipment for various applications are of great importance. The implementation of such models involves extensive use of various information technologies.
- The relevance of the academic programme and the demand for graduates in the labour market is due to the wide use of mathematical modelling and information technology in various fields of science and technology, including medicine, the nuclear industry, safe nuclear power, and fundamental scientific research.
