Programme description
  • The Master’s Degree Programme in «Occupational Safety and Occupational Risk Management» is based on the concept of the human-centred economy in the conditions of the digital transformation of business and the requirements of the transition to sustainable development of the economy and society, which requires not only the digital restructuring of production and business processes, but also the safe and effective involvement of people in them, ensuring economic growth in the conditions of a responsible attitude towards the natural and social environment
  • The programme focuses on training and research in key OSH areas such as working conditions and safety, OSH legislation and industrial relations, digital culture, personality diagnostics in organisations, economic risks of post-industrial society, workplace design, ergonomics, organisational change management
  • The market demands professionals who are able to calculate production and business processes based on their resource support, as well as to organise the economic process in a manner that considers human resources in a careful and rational manner. This can lead the company to a new stage of development
  • The programme’s mission is to provide training for highly qualified specialists in occupational safety and occupational risk management, human resource management specialists who are prepared to assess sustainability risks on modern environmental, social and corporate governance agendas and identify economically viable solutions at various management levels (corporate, regional and state)

  • accreditation of organisations providing occupational safety services and control of their activities 
  • certification of the right to perform work on special assessment of working conditions, issuing of an expert certificate of the right to perform work on special assessment of working conditions and its cancellation as a result of such certification

Internship organisations: 

The largest public and private Russian and foreign companies, public organisations, state structures and federal subjects that have signed a cooperation agreement with SPbU. 

The internship can be carried out in the form of SPbU clinical practice — in the Sociological Clinic of Applied Research, in the Centre for Applied Economic Research (Economic Clinic), in the Environmental Clinic, in the Legal Clinic; in the Psychological Clinic, in the Educational and Research Department of the SPbU Higher School of Labour Safety.
