  • Physics of galaxies: dynamic interaction and structuring of formations in galaxies and intergalactic space. Gravitational interaction processes of of galaxies. Photometry and polarimetry of peculiar galaxies, active galactic nuclei, quasars and blazars
  • Stellar physics: development of the theory and methods for calculating the transfer of radiation and matter in the interiors and atmospheres of stars; light curve analysis; analysis of spectra and polarisation of young stars; stars with protoplanetary disks and galactic X-ray sources
  • Interstellar-matter physics: investigation of interstellar extinction and polarisation within the framework of various models of non-spherical multilayer particles, mechanisms of structure formation in the interstellar medium and mechanisms of star formation
  • Heliophysics: theoretical spectropolarimetry of the Sun, structural formations of the solar atmosphere in the millimetre wavelength range
  • Dynamics of stellar systems: dynamic behaviour of stellar systems, structural-kinematic and dynamical simulation of the Galaxy
  • Celestial mechanics: deterministic and stochastic celestial mechanics, dynamics of the orbits of natural and artificial celestial bodies, exoplanets
  • Astrometry: study of the rotational variables of the Earth using VLBI observations, GPS astrometry, space astrometry
