The bachelor’s programme "Chinese Philology" is designed to provide students with a fundamental knowledge of China, based on an in-depth study of the philological component of Chinese cultural heritage and fundamental knowledge for expert activities in China in a variety of fields. The programme is also aimed at developing in students a holistic understanding of the cultural, ethnic, demographic, confessional, linguistic, political, economic, social, and other features of China. Students also study in depth Chinese. The programme is also designed to provide comprehensive training for future master’s students and scholars in the field of scientific sinology.
