Aleksandr Aleksandrov Video Lecture from the series "The History of the University in People".
It is dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Aleksandr Aleksandrov (1912–1999), an outstanding mathematician of the 20th century, graduate, professor, Rector of St Petersburg University from 1952 to 1964, Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The lecture is delivered by Nina Zherve, an employee of the St Petersburg University History Museum, historian, and an award winner of the National Prize for Cultural Heritage in 2013 in the nomination "Enlightener".
