City of Military Glory: Lomonosov. The Oranienbaum Bridgehead

During the excursion you will explore unfadable heroic deeds of Soviet soldiers who steadfastly resisted the onslaught of fascist forces from September 1941 to January 1944 at this crucial defensive position of besieged Leningrad, while visiting to memorial sites. 

The excursion will be led by Dmitry Osipov, Professor at St Petersburg University.

Departure for the excursion will be at precisely 11 am at the checkpoint of the student residence halls in Peterhof (66 Botanicheskaya Street). Participants are kindly asked to arrive on time. Applications to take part in the excursion will be accepted until 4:00 pm on 3 May 2025 via email at e.o.pavlova@spbu.ru.
