School for Young Scientists 2025: Inorganic, (Bio)Hybrid, and Polymeric Nanostructures: Synthesis and Functional Properties
St Petersburg University is hosting a School for Young Scientists titled "Inorganic, (Bio)Hybrid, and Polymeric Nanostructures: Synthesis and Functional Properties" for third and fourth year students from Russian universities.
During the school, early career researchers will gain hands-on experience of experimental work and explore the latest advances in the creation and application of nanomaterials. Participants will attend lectures by leading scientists and visit laboratories in the Research Park’s resource centres. As part of the programme, students will join research groups led by SPbU staff, where they will have the opportunity to collaborate with experts and complete an independent project on one of the proposed topics.
Programme
31 January
Lectures by leading scientists and tours of the Research Park’s resource centres.
3–6 February
Work in research teams on selected topics.
7 February
Lectures by leading scientists, project presentations, and award ceremony. Certificates will be awarded to all participants, with special diplomas for the best presenters.
