Digitalisation, law and genetics: new autumn online courses at St Petersburg University
To assess the legal risks of game development, to protect yourself in the digital age, and to conduct a genetic analysis of the symbiosis of organisms – St Petersburg University invites you to master these and other skills.
St Petersburg University has published 19 new online courses on the Open edX platform in: law, economics, biological sciences, and other fields. The authors of the courses are leading lecturers of the University. The programme includes lectures, practical classes, case studies, and homework.
Classes start in September. You can already get acquainted with the course contents and sign up for the autumn semester.
Some online courses require background, while others are suitable for beginners. The classes last from 10 to 14 weeks. Access to the course content is free; it will take from two to five hours per week to master the content. Upon completion, you can receive a certificate on a commercial basis, which will become your competitive advantage in employment in Russian and international companies.

For reference: St Petersburg University is the leader on the Open edX platform in the amount of content – the University has published over 136 online courses. The number of students in the spring session was over 400,000 people. Thanks to the support of the University during the closure of all educational institutions due to the coronavirus pandemic, many Russian students were able to take the University's online courses in the necessary disciplines for free and credit their results at their own university.
