Master’s programmes at the international level: St Petersburg University in collaboration with Fudan University to train managers and financiers
In 2024, St Petersburg University is set to introduce a joint double-degree master’s programme in partnership with Fudan University, China. This initiative aims to equip highly skilled professionals to serve the interests of advancing the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership and enhancing economic cooperation.
The project encompasses St Petersburg University master’s programmes "Master in Management — MIM" and "Master in Corporate Finance — MCF". Initially, students will study in St Petersburg for the first year. Then, they will undertake entrance exams at Fudan University, continuing their studies in Shanghai through Fudan University English-language master’s programmes in International Business and Finance. Consequently, students will receive two degrees: a master’s degree at St Petersburg University and a master’s degree at Fudan University.
Under this initiative, students from the Graduate School of Management at St Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) can access various scholarship schemes that cover either partially or fully the expenses of studying and residing in China. The primary criterion for selecting eligible candidates is the student’s academic performance.
For the first time in a considerable period, the Graduate School of Management at St Petersburg University is introducing a joint double-degree programme within the framework of two of its master’s programmes simultaneously. This demonstrates the significant demand for the business school academic offerings in finance and management, including from international universities.
